"MDK" storms into stores Tuesday.

Playmates Interactive Entertainment's genre-busting PC title

explodes into retail outlets from coast to coast

The wait is over! Playmates Interactive Entertainment Inc.'s exclusive North American version of the much-anticipated, action/strategy game, "MDK," ships Tuesday to all major retail outlets throughout the United States.

Featured on multiple gaming magazine covers, the title has received rave pre-release reviews from the gaming and on-line media. PC Games called "MDK" "the greatest single-player game ever." And PC Gamer said the title "will send everything else running for cover."

Since February, consumers have stormed the Internet looking for a peek of "MDK," with 150,000 demos of the title downloaded from the Web's top games sites, including Happy Puppy, Gamespot, CNET's GameCenter, as well as two mirror sites on the Playmates Interactive (www.playmatestoys.com) and developer Shiny Entertainment's (www.shiny.com) Web sites.

The unstoppable response to the demo and amazing pre-orders confirm that "MDK" is unquestionably one of the most anticipated games of the year.

"MDK" was developed by Shiny Entertainment, the developers responsible for the console platform smash hit "Earthworm Jim."

A Sony PlayStation version of "MDK" is scheduled for release in July.
