Qld: More legal action on chald abuse allegations likely
It's been claimed the Anglican Church may face further legal action over allegationsof child sex abuse at a school.
People's Alliance Against Child Sexual Abuse president HETTY JOHNSTON says the actionis likely, following a meeting of about 40 people yesterday.
The meeting discussed sexual abuse incidents at the church-run Toowoomba PreparatorySchool, west of Brisbane.
The meeting was addressed by a woman, 24, who was awarded a record damages payout lastDecember, after being abused by a teacher in 1990.
