Vic: Person killed in crash near Mansfield
MELBOURNE, Aug 25 AAP - One person has been killed after a car crashed into an embankmentand burst into flames in central Victoria overnight.
Police said the car hit an embankment at the intersection of the Maroondah and MidlandHighways, near Mansfield about 10.40pm (AEST).
The deceased person is yet to be identified.
The death takes Victoria's road toll to 266, eight less than at the same time last year.
