QLD: QTAC offers released today
BRISBANE, Jan 14 AAP - Eight out of 10 people who applied for admission to Queensland
tertiary institutions will be offered a place in 1999, The Queensland Tertiary Admissions
Centre (QTAC) said today.
"Every year there are more applications than admissions," a spokeswoman said.
Around 54,000 people had applied, she said.
Those anxious to find out the future of their education will not have long to wait.
